My Diary of my tour of US/HAITI with CARIMI!!!!!
Humeur actuelle : reconnaissant
this is my mini diary of the tour with CARIMI, I will try to do my best to explain my feelings in English because as you know it is not my mother
tongue so please forgive me my mistake. I arrived on the 21th of December in NY and the 22nd I had a rehearsal with the guys before the show in New Jersey. The atmosphere at the studio was pretty
cool; relaxed. As I didn't know the guys that well. I was a little shy at the beginning but when I saw that they were very cool and simple, so I felt comfortable.

NEW JERSEY!
About the show in New Jersey, it was not packed because the place/location got changed at the last time but despite that, the show was great and the crowd was happy to see me for the first time.
For the first set CARIMI and Tina, it was cool...and we felt confident about the future shows. After the show I slept only for 2 hours to get ready to go to Boston.

BOSTON
This night it was raining and I was afraid for the venue but apparently the rain did not stop the people from wanting to see Carimi. The club was packed and when it was the time for me to perform
I was so surprised to see some people singing the songs. I didn't know Vincent's club and it's a beautifull club. And as Boston was not my first time, I was happy to see DJ Super duke who I met
in Boston 2 years ago and my friends of Lights out dj and some others people that I met before when I came for shows with Evans. That night my album was on sale and people came to see me and
asked for my autograph on the cds.

MIAMI
The day after we left at 3pm for the flight to Miami. It was the 24th, Christmas eve. When we arrived I met my producer Ali Angel and Nathalie from NS EVENTS who was there to see and film the
show at Bongo's with T Vice and CARIMI. There were a lot of people there. The club was packed and the show was outside and it was raining there too!!! T-Vice played first. First time that I
actually saw them play LIVE and they put on a great show. The party was organized by Rodney Noel and his associates. And my album was offered with the ticket when you bought it at his office
because it is Harmony Records who takes care of my album in USA/Haiti and Canada.
When I performed with Carimi to sing the duet with Richard, I was surprised that the crowd sung the song with me in accapella. It was a very good night. Ali Angel told me that the guys rocked
that night. It was a beautiful night despite the rain.

NEW YORK
Right after we had to run to take the plane to New York at 7 am. I slept all day before the show because as you can see in the pictures that you had, I didn't sleep a lot. (Laughs). We arrived at
AMAZURA for the KREYOL LA/ CARIMI show. You know I thought that Miami would be the best performance because people could hear the song on the radio, so I was so surprised when I came on stage to
see people singing the song with me in New York. As I can say thank you to the internet!!! I felt the warmth of the crowd. That night I was pleased to meet you Pat as well as Ti Joe of Kreyol LA.
I heard that they played very good too, but I didn't stay so long because of the plane for Haiti but their show was nice.

HAITI
The 26th Tina in Haiti!!!!!! First time ever!!! When we arrived at the airport, I saw some fans waiting for Carimi and they were asking them for autographs. I was so surprised that they
recognized me also and wanted my signature as well. Some girls even asked me to sing a little bit for them which I did..it was so cute. My tour there was planned by Nouvel Jenerazion - Charles
JOUBERT. The organization was very good as they took care of me during my stay in Haiti. And you know I'm not a Diva, I am someone very simple and natural who loves to have fun and laugh but stay
professionnal.
Richard was curious about my reaction in Haiti and as I told him that some areas reminded me of my country..French Guyana, but unfortunately as my visit was short and I didn't see a lot of
Haiti.
The 27th day of the show, Richard and I went to tv/radios for interviews. I even had the honor to meet the Mayor and took some pictures with the person who works with him. At night we went to Le
Florville for the show Carimi/ Tina and DJ fanfan. They told me that they sold 1500 tickets but during the show there were more than 2000 people. Woaw when I saw the place I said but where will
they put the crowd ?? lol
THAT NIGHT IT WAS MAGIC!!! Richard and I sung the duet A TES COTES in accoustic with Glenny on the guitar and there were around 1000 candles lights in the crowds..it was beautiful and everybody
sung the song with us. I was so impressed and touched. We sung the song in a normal way but twice, people asked for an ENCORE. After that I signed my album for people who bought it because it was
on sale that night too.

GOODBYE
The 28th I left Haiti with a heavy heart. It was so sad to leave Haiti, I wanted to visit more, tears almost came flowing down my eyes. The last time this happened to me it was after a warmful
show in French Guyana, but you are right Richard this time HAITI was number 1, but I promise I will show you that in my country you will be happy to see the reaction of the crowd too lol
At the airport, I had the chance to meet Djakout Mizik as we were on the same plane. I spoke and took some pics with them. It was nice to talk to Pouchon, Ti Pouch, Evens and the others.
Today, I'm in Paris with a lot and great souvenirs in my mind. And let me say one thing to the fanatics of CARIMI. They are right to love and support them. Those guys are so cool and natural. I
had a lot of fun with them even we were tired.
Thanks again to Fito, Richard, Carlo, Mickael, Glenny, Noldy, Alex, Stanley, Ti Marco, Greg, Nandy, Rodney and Joubert and the others guys (Philippe, Alix and Alexander) for this experience and I
hope it's not the last.
